General Information Required :

  • screenshots or recordings (help to know when an issue occurs)
  • If possible, project files



PC Configuration informations :


  1. Download the provided Get PC Specs.bat file from the attachment below.
  2. Double click it, when prompted, press any key to continue.

  3. the PC configuration summary will be saved to systeminfo.txt :


Logs collection Instructions :

IMPORTANT : Always collect most recent log or log files related to the date of your issue/crash !


Combo/Combo+, UE Pro2, Trio


General logfiles (Software,Client and server, algorithm)

  1. Navigate to : Software installation directory\ (In most cases: C:\Program Files\Shining3d\FreeScan)
  2. Locate folder \log\  and collect it.

  3. Share this folder with us.


  1. Navigate to : Software installation directory\syncservice\log
  2. Locate folder \log\  and collect it.
  3. Share this folder with us.



In case of Calibration fail :

  1. Navigate to Software installation directory\res\calibrationFailedLog
  2. Locate calibrationFailedLog  and collect it.
  3. Share this file with us.


In case of Software Crash :

  1. Navigate to Software installation directory\
  2. On search bar, type in dmp and / or dump and collect .dmp files or crashDump file
  3. Share this file with us.


In case of Login fail :

  1. Navigate toSoftware installation directory\SnCommunity
  2. Locate folder \logs\  and collect it.
  3. Share this folder with us.




Trak Pro2, Trak ProW and NOVA


General logfiles (Software,Client and server, algorithm)

  1. Navigate to : Software installation directory\ (In most cases: C:\Program Files\Shining3d\FreeTrak_TRAK)
  2. Locate folder \log\  and collect it.

  3. Share this folder with us.

  3. Share this folder with us.


Shining Passport - logfiles :

  1. Navigate to C:\Shining3d\OptimScan\SnCommunity\)
  2. Locate folder \Logs\  and collect it.
  3. Share this folder with us.


Software Crash : 

  1. Navigate to C:\Shining3d\OptimScan\SnCommunity\)
  2. Locate folder EinScanDump-*Date_hour*.dmp  file and collect it.
  3. Share this file with us.
