Overview:
This guide walks you through the setup process of your FreeScan Trak ProW, including both wired and wireless connections. Before beginning, note that the wireless connection may already be pre-paired for your convenience. If not, you can follow the steps below to complete the pairing process manually.
Step-by-Step Setup Instructions
1. Initial Power and Network Setup
Power on the scanner and the tracker with their dedicated power bank.
Power on the router with provided USB-C cable
Connect your computer directly to the router using an Ethernet cable.
Once connected, launch the scanning software and begin scanning.
Re-pairing Wireless Connection (If Needed)
If the scanner cannot connect wirelessly or you are changing to a different router, follow these steps to pair manually:
1. Hardware Connections
Connect the scanner (3) and tracker (1) to the hub (5),
Connect the hub to power (6) and ensure both the tracker and scanner are powered on.
Connect the router to your computer using the Ethernet cable, and the USB C cable

2. Router Pairing
Open the scanning software.
In the top right corner, click on the Connection Guide.
Select "Wire Pair".
Enter the SSID and password of your Wi-Fi router.
Click Confirm. A success message will appear once pairing is complete.
Switching to Wireless Mode
Disconnect the power and data wire of both Tracker and Scanner on the HUB.
Connect a power bank to both the scanner and the tracker.
Keep connected the router
