Software Interface Design

Pre-Scanning

1. Added homepage including： 

①Recent project list: View the list of recent project group files, no need to find the project group files under different paths each time

②Resource center: Contain user manual, tutorials, official website and so on  

③Calibration, post-processing, measurement entrance

2. No need to select the resolution before creating a new project, and the default resolution is 0.5mm 
3. Provided default path and project name

Scanning Part

Function Panel on the Left 

1. Scan mesh: No need to generate point cloud first, and it can save much time
2. Adjust the resolution: When there is only one project within the project group, you can adjust the resolution in real-time in the scan mesh mode.
3. Data quality indicator: Blue represents high-quality scanned data and yellow represents insufficient scanned data that requires further scanning. Insufficiently scanned data may disappear or become anomalous after editing. This function is not available for scanning in scan markers mode or photogrammetry mode.
4. Deep hole mode: Improve depth acquisition (can be accessed in 26 laser line and single line mode)

Function Panel on the Right 

1. Default data alignment: Marker alignment in default if the data has markers
2. Cutting plane can be saved in the global markers file
3. EXModel Entrance

Editing Tools

1. Supports undos & redos；
2. Mesh and markers editing at the same time

Mesh Part

1. Added semi-watertight and watertight
2. Deleting unwanted neighboring areas is supported when you click "fill small hole"

Post-Processing Part

1. Right click can switch the data display type: triangles, wireframe, point cloud, triangles and wireframes 
2. Deleting unwanted neighboring areas is supported when you choose manual hole filling or auto hole filling
3. Added model display: When clicked, the model will rotate to allow for a full display of the data. (shortcut key: F12)

Measurement Tools Part 

1. Create feature: Supports to create point, line, plane features by markers
2. Align: ①Added object mover ②Show/hide the global coordinate system ③Supports global markers file align 
3. Measure: Distance between two markers can be measured

Upper Right Corner

1. Supports the prompt sound of the device to turn on/off
2. Compatible with 3DConnexion SpaceMouse
3. Supports to import/export the scanning templates
4. Improved 3rd party software access by self configuring different versions
5. Information related to the device and software is displayed
6. Account and more advanced settings

Shortcut Key

1. Long press the left button on the scanner: switch scanning modes
2. Long press the right button on the scanner: switch scanning targets
