1. Start with default san path
When you create a new project the standard scan path "default" is automatically set. It consist of 10 scan steps with different position of the arm and the turntable .So this standard path is a good start to capture the first data. In the video below you see this workflow.
2. Add Scans
When you have finished the first auto scans with the default setting you can rotate the object to a position were scan data are missing and click on add scan. Then the scanner will move the object to that position you adjust on the screen and make a scan. If you move the object on the screen to a position that the scanner can't reach the icon for add scan will be not active.

3. Save new scan path
You can repeat that process until you have everything scanned. When you are done you can save this extra positions you have done as new scan path file. For this please click on the floppy disk icon on the right side of the scan path. A new window pops up. Give the new path a name and save it. In the video below you see this workflow.
4. Create a scan path manual
It is also possible to create the scan path manual. The saving location for the path are:
If you start with a complete empty file you need to first type in the numbers of rows (red surrounded), then the command is the 4 columns (yellow surrounded) and the last command is the # comments (green surrounded).
After that you need to define the position of the arm, the turntable and the speed. The 3rd number is the position of the mirror. Which can be set before the scan will start but the mirror want change the position during scanning.
The structure of the columns is as follows.
First column is the position of the turntable which can be set between 0 to 360 (green surrounded).
The second column is for the position of the arm. 50 is the "home position". So it stands straight. The number can be set from 0 to 135.(blue surrounded).
The 3rd column is the mirror but as already mentioned, it need to be adjust at the beginning and even if you change the number here the mirror want move.
The 4th is the speed of the arm. The higher the number the slower the movement.
When you have set all numbers ensure that the number of rows at the beginning is the same as ne number of rows you create. The you can save the file and load it in the software
